IPv4/IPv6 Network Information

This section describes the public network identity of the virtual machine. The information is derived from the system’s external IP address and geolocation databases. It does not measure performance but helps identify the provider and environment in which the benchmark runs.

  • ISP The Internet service provider associated with the detected IP address. This typically reflects the upstream carrier or backbone network used by the hosting provider.

  • ASN The Autonomous System Number assigned to the network that owns or announces the IP address in BGP (Border Gateway Protocol). Each ASN represents a distinct routing domain on the internet.

  • Host The organization or company operating the VPS or infrastructure. In some cases this may differ from the ISP if the provider resells connectivity.

  • Location The city and region determined through IP geolocation. This is an approximate value and may not always match the actual physical data center location.

  • Country The country associated with the detected IP address. Like the location field, this is based on IP-to-location databases and may not always be precise.
